Shop sign goes up - Julita is here !
With the help of an aging local fundi (called John), Julita's new sign is up at last !!!
First consignment of stock hits the shelves !
The first consignment of wine and spirits arrived half way through April, and Julita wasted no time getting them on to the shelves.
With the store opening date estimated mid May, many finishing touches have been attended to in the past few days, including a complete re-wiring of the shop electrics, and installation of fans and air conditioning.
More stock will be arriving in the next few weeks, including wines, spirits, cheeses and of course frozen quality meat.
The shop signs will be installed this weekend with pictures to follow!

A new coat of paint for the roller doors !
Quality is also about appearances.
In order to tidy up the look of Julita's from the outside, the roller shutters have received a new lick of paint.

Fitting out the interior
Only the best cabinet makers in Tanga have been used to fit out the interior of Julita's. The intention will be to transmit a atmosphere of comfort and quality for visitors to the shop.

Announcing store opening - March 2014 !
New Tanga resident Julita Julius is delighted to announce the imminent opening of her shop 'Julita's.'
Located conveniently on the outskirts on Tanga town, Julita's will specialise in quality wines and spirits, as well as stocking and selling a range of frozen meats from various suppliers in both Tanzania and Kenya.
No expense has been spared in fitting out Julita's with quality furniture and refrigeration equipment, and hygene and stock management will play a key part.
Julita's will provide quality goods at competitive prices and in a comfortable and friendly environment. The plan will be to introduce further products such as cheeses and chutneys in order to compliment the range.
The opening is planned for March 2014.
